Created as a conceptual beer brand, I wanted Evening News to be fun and funky. With the tagline “Finally, some good news,” Evening News came from the need to have a beer every time I watched the news.

“Brewed” in my hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, I wanted the design to reflect the beachy atmosphere (and pay homage to my one escape during 2020).

The vintage elements mixed with the tongue-in-cheek tagline help keep the branding feeling lighthearted and away from reflecting the current news cycle.
