Inspired by my Costa Rican grandmother, Lita’s is a fictional café and bakery designed to capture the warmth, hospitality, and vibrant spirit of her kitchen. The visual identity is colorful and inviting—reflecting her feminine yet lively personality—while remaining approachable and comforting.

Rooted in Costa Rican tradition, Lita’s embraces the country’s love for cafecito, the cherished ritual of sharing coffee and pastries with loved ones. The menu features Costa Rican classics that my grandmother lovingly prepared, offering a taste of home to those unfamiliar with the culture.

More than just a café, Lita’s would be a gathering place—a space where I could introduce my American and European friends to the flavors, warmth, and traditions of my mother’s country.
